Andrew Yell

Andrew Yell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Andrew started their career as a PHRS Equality and Diversity Representative at the University of Leeds in 2015.

In 2015, they joined RP International as an International Recruitment Consultant and worked there until 2016.

Andrew then moved on to Michael Page, where they worked as a Consultant from 2016 to 2017.

In 2018, they joined Premier Farnell as a Global Supplier Manager. During their tenure, they managed a multi-million portfolio of SBC & Software suppliers, led contractual negotiations, and developed supplier strategies to drive sales growth.

From 2021 to 2023, Andrew worked at Hermes as a Technology Vendor Manager in Tech Partnerships. In this role, they were responsible for managing strategic suppliers, achieving significant cost savings, and implementing best practices across the IT estate.

Currently, Andrew is the Head of Vendor Management- IT at Card Factory, a role they started in 2023.

Andrew Yell obtained a Bachelor's degree (Double Honours) in History and Philosophy from the University of Leeds. Andrew also completed a degree in Operational Management at Instep UK, specializing in Operations Management and Supervision. In addition to their academic qualifications, Andrew has obtained several certifications including Advanced Negotiation Skills from Scotwork, FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation, American Football Coaching Level 1 from BAFCA, and Online Digital Marketing from Google.
