Katarzyna Stawarz

Katarzyna Stawarz is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Human-Computer Interaction at Cardiff University, with prior experience as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol, focusing on co-designing interactive machine learning interfaces for Type 1 Diabetes management and leading user research for online platforms in mental health support. Katarzyna has a PhD and MSc in Human-Computer Interaction from UCL, where research emphasized improving medication adherence through technology. Previous roles include UX Designer and Co-founder at Knry, and Business Intelligence Analyst at Haymarket Media, among others. Notably, Katarzyna also has substantial experience in localization and editing for various platforms.
