Richard Sambrook

Richard Sambrook is an accomplished Emeritus Professor at Cardiff University, where experience includes digital editorial strategy, governance and ethics, and media training, among other areas. Currently, Sambrook serves as Chairman of DMA Media Group and Co-Chair of the Bureau for Investigative Journalism, and holds leadership positions with the Frontline Club Charitable Trust and NewsGuard Technologies. Previous roles include directing the Centre for Journalism at Cardiff University, as well as serving as Global Vice Chairman and Chief Content Officer at Edelman and Director of Global News at BBC. Sambrook's educational background includes an MSc in Politics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA in English from the University of Reading, complemented by advanced management training at INSEAD.
