Catherine Stanton

Catherine joined Cardinal Group Companies as its inaugural General Counsel in October 2020. She is responsible for corporate and tactical legal initiatives, coordination of legal services for all operating businesses and departments, and oversight of corporate governance and compliance. Catherine also heads the Cardinal ESG Council.

Prior to joining Cardinal, Catherine served as General Counsel of an alternative financing and technology company, providing legal and strategic support to all aspects of the business's lending, securities, and governance activities.

Catherine holds a dual BA/BS in English and Education from the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH, and graduated summa cum laude with her Juris Doctor from Cleveland- Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University, in Cleveland, OH, where she participated in moot court and served as an associate editor of the Law Review.
