Sandor Batkai, M.D., Ph.D. has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2000 when they were a Visiting Fellow at the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Sandor then became the Head of the Phenotyping Core and Laboratory of Physiological Studies in the same institute. In 2011, they moved to the Hannover Medical School as Group Leader of "Cardiovascular Phenotyping and Translational Strategies". Most recently, in 2016, they became the Head of Competitive Intelligence and Co-Founder and Head of Science at Cardior Pharmaceuticals.

Sandor Batkai, M.D., Ph.D. received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Semmelweis University in 1987 and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the same university in 2004.
