Mikayla Boone

Mikayla (Mik) Boone currently serves as a Virtual Care Center Support Specialist at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South, where responsibilities include conducting research and analytics on VCC services, staff productivity, and onboarding training for new employees. In addition, Mik acts as the co-chairman for the DEI&B Committee, focusing on initiatives that support underrepresented staff and contribute to the strategic plan for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior experience includes serving as a Charge Nurse at Rayne Guest Home Inc. Mik is pursuing a Master of Human Relations with a focus on Diversity, Equity, and Strategic Impact at the University of Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions from Louisiana State University of Alexandria and a Technical Diploma in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training from Louisiana Delta Community College.
