MacKenzie O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career as a Public Relations Intern at Kaufmann Mercantile in 2011. They then worked at The Brandman Agency as a Lead Intern, Assistant Account Coordinator, and eventually an Account Coordinator. In these roles, they coordinated media relations, organized travel itineraries, and sought out new media and partnerships.
MacKenzie then moved on to work as a Public Relations Coordinator at Kaufmann Mercantile, where they developed and executed media strategies, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and monitored press coverage. They later joined Gato as an Administrative Assistant, where they managed communication channels and supported the general manager.
Following their time at Gato, MacKenzie worked at Adaptive Realty as a Property Management Assistant. In this role, they coordinated new development projects, provided support to the property manager, and collaborated with leasing agents on marketing strategy and lease agreements.
Prior to their current role, MacKenzie worked at The Motley as an E-Commerce Manager. During their tenure, they monitored web analytics, delivered top-tier customer experience, served as a buyer for third-party products, and managed inventory and operations.
Currently, MacKenzie is working at Cardon as the Manager of Retention Marketing & Partnerships, a position they started in 2021.
MacKenzie O'Brien has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism from Baruch College. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Odyssey Academy.
