Igor de la Sota began their career in 2004 with a summer internship at Morgan Stanley. In 2005, they worked in Corporate Finance & Valuations for a leading Financial and Real Estate company. Igor then joined ING Nederland in 2007 as a Corporate Finance employee. In 2011, Igor was appointed Managing Director Hilco Iberia at Hilco Capital, where they looked for stressed and distressed opportunities in Spain and Portugal. In 2016, Igor founded and became General Partner at Cardumen Capital, an Israel-focused deep tech venture capital company.
Igor de la Sota completed their high school education at Ampleforth College from 1991 to 2000. Igor then attended Newcastle University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a 2:1 B.A (Hons) in Business Management. In 2009, Igor began a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program at IESE Business School, which they completed in 2011. In 2010, they also participated in an exchange program at the London Business School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
