Axel McFarlane

Axel McFarlane is a skilled product designer with extensive experience in enhancing user experiences across various platforms. Currently, Axel serves as the Design Lead for both Care.com’s provider experience team and the mid-funnel experience, where impactful redesign initiatives have been implemented. In addition to these roles, Axel is an Adjunct Professor at SVA Design for Social Innovation, teaching Games for Impact, and has previously held teaching positions at New York University, where curriculum and lesson plans for Game Design were developed. Axel's design expertise extends to roles at GSA, Haute Hijab, and NextChapter, focusing on UX design and customer experience enhancement through user research and competitive analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Integrated Digital Media from NYU Tandon and a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from Cornell University, complemented by a study in Anthropology at Université Paris Cité.
