Aliya Kamalova

Originally from Kazakhstan, by way of Houston, Aliya moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA where she graduated with a degree in Global Studies. During college, she was the Editor in Chief of UCLA's satire magazine and led the comedy department of UCLA Radio. Post graduation, Aliya has continued writing and designing. She has written pieces for Reductress, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, and Team Coco digital. She loves discovering innovative ways to create captivating content, and her job at Career Contessa allows her to do just that.
