Vanja Kovacevic

Vanja Kovacevic has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2023, they worked as a Career and Outplacement Coach at Careerminds. Before that, in 2019, they were a Career and Leadership Coach at Focus Goal Success. From 2014 to 2019, Vanja served as the Southeast Asia Director at SCHMITT & ORLOV, where they managed the firm's offices in the ASEAN region, led local teams, and developed the firm's practice. They also handled intellectual property cases, advised clients on legal issues, and developed client relationships. Their work in ASEAN gained international recognition. Prior to that, Vanja was the Head of Intellectual Property Department at Divjak, Topi\u0107 & Bahtijarevi\u0107 from 2008 to 2014, where they handled various intellectual property cases and advised clients on information technology issues. They were recognized as a leader in the field. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as an Associate at Vukmir & Associates, handling trademark and industrial design rights prosecution and enforcement. They also mentored paralegals and trainees. Earlier in their career, Vanja worked as a Project Coordinator at the Civic Committee for Human Rights from 1997 to 2002.

Vanja Kovacevic holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu, earned through the Integrated General BA-MA program. In addition to their academic qualifications, Vanja has obtained several certifications. These include completing the "Masterclass: Train the Trainer" program at The MMS Worldwide Institute in 2018, undergoing the "Professional Certified Coach Training Program (ICF ACTP)" at the same institute in 2016, becoming a Trademark and Industrial Design Agent certified by the Croatian State Intellectual Property Office in 2008, and passing the Bar Exam administered by the Croatian Bar Association in 2006.
