Charlie Howell

Charlie Howell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Charlie is currently Vice President of Business Development and Technology at CareerSource Flagler Volusia, where they lead Ice House Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator Training and works on providing remote case management tools. Prior to this, they served as a Chief Information Officer at the same organization, leading a team in converting live workshops into online training courses. Their initiative was selected for a study on Technology Based Learning in the American Job Centers by the US Department of Labor.

Before their roles at CareerSource Flagler Volusia, Charlie was the Director of Information Systems at CareerSource Flagler Volusia (formerly Center for Business Excellence). During their time there, they standardized computing equipment, moved a data center to a new location, and migrated data lines from copper to fiber.

Charlie also has experience as the President and Owner of Information Systems Builders, Inc., a data processing consulting firm. Charlie served as a consultant at the Center for Business Excellence, and also worked as a Programmer-Owner and Operator at Information Systems Group.

Their earlier work experience includes roles as a Computer Division Manager at Title and Trust Company of Florida, an IT Technician at Broward Computer Services, and an Accounting Specialist at Charter Air Center.

Charlie Howell's education history is as follows:

- From 1970 to 1972, they attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and obtained an Airframe and Powerplant license in Aviation Maintenance Management.
