Mary Arkin

Mary Arkin, PharmD, MHA has a comprehensive and diverse work experience in various pharmacy-related roles. Mary began their career at Rite Aid in 2006, working as a Pharmacy Intern until 2009. Mary then joined Geisinger Health Plan as a Managed Care Pharmacy Resident from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Mary joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina as a Clinical Pharmacist, where their responsibilities included formulary management, utilization management, and drug reviews. Mary also collaborated with pharmacists, medical directors, and other clinical staff.

Mary further expanded their expertise at the University of Colorado Hospital, where they worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Managed Care from 2013 to 2014. Mary then joined Evolent Health as an Associate Director of Commercial Products from 2014 to 2018.

Currently, Mary serves as the Director of Clinical Pharmacy Operations at CarelonRx, a position they have held since April 2018. Their extensive experience in various pharmacy roles has equipped their with the skills and knowledge necessary for effective leadership in clinical pharmacy operations.

Mary Arkin, PharmD, MHA has a Master's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Walden University, which they earned from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a PharmD degree in Pharmacy from Wilkes University, completing their studies from 2004 to 2010. Mary completed their high school education at Corning Painted-Post East High School from 2000 to 2004.
