Dr. Saria Saccocio has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Saria is currently serving as the East Region Chief Medical Officer at CareMore Health, where they oversee medical operations in the region. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Regional Medical Officer at CareMore Health. In 2022, they founded their own company, Saccocio Solutions, LLC, and served as the Founder and President.

Before that, Dr. Saccocio was the President of Proactive MD in 2021, where they played a key role in guiding the organization. Saria also served as the Ambulatory Chief Medical Officer at Prisma Health from 2020 to 2021. From 2017 to 2020, they held the position of Department Chair and Ambulatory Chief Medical Officer at Greenville Health System.

In 2014, Dr. Saccocio served as the Chief Medical Officer at Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, where they were responsible for medical staff services/credentialing, clinical informatics, health information management, and case management. Saria also gained experience as a Market Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Officer at LifePoint Hospitals from 2010 to 2014. Their expertise extends to Floyd Medical Center, where they worked as an Associate Director from 2008 to 2010.

Dr. Saccocio's career began in 1997 as a Member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a role they held until 2010. Before that, they established a solo micro-practice as a Family Physician and owner of Saria Carter Saccocio, MD, PA from 2004 to 2008. Their practice focused on providing patient-centered care and utilizing electronic health records.

Saria Saccocio MD MHA FAAFP completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Florida Atlantic University in 1996. Saria then went on to obtain a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida, graduating in 2001. In 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
