Amber Dollison

Amber Dollison has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Amber is currently working at Carenet Health as a Human Resources Business Partner, where they assist leadership in creating compensation plans and provides coaching on sensitive work-related issues. Amber also updated and implemented new hire orientation processes, resulting in increased employee satisfaction. Prior to this, they worked as a Corporate Recruiter, managing the full cycle of recruiting for various departments.

Before joining Carenet Health, Amber was employed at the Del Mar College Small Business Development Center- SBDC as an Advisor Support for small business human resources. In this role, they assisted small businesses in creating employee handbooks and policies, as well as supported Business Advisors with research projects.

Amber's experience also includes working at Bowlmor AMF as an Operations Manager, where they contributed to the growth of the center by recruiting and training new employees. Amber also led the events team and successfully executed multiple events.

Prior to that, Amber worked at Parivaar Design & Development as an Assistant Director of Marketing and Development, where they managed social media marketing for multiple accounts and created marketing content for clients. Additionally, they worked at GROW Local STX as a Market Manager, responsible for planning and executing farmers markets and community events.

Amber's earliest work experience was at Starbucks, where they served as an Assistant Manager for over a decade.

Amber Dollison started their education journey in 2003 at Harper College. Although there is no specific information about the degree they pursued or the field of study, they completed their studies there in 2006.

In 2018, Amber enrolled at Western Governors University, where they spent three years completing their Bachelor of Science in Business. Amber'sarea of focus was Human Resources Management.

In terms of additional certifications, in May 2021, Amber obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Additionally, in May 2022, they acquired a certification in Human Resources: Compensation and Benefits from LinkedIn.
