Thomas Nelson

Thomas Nelson has a strong and diverse work experience in various companies within the healthcare industry. Thomas began their career in 1982 as a Product Marketing Manager at 3M Corporation, where they played a crucial role in the development and launch of the first Medical laser Imager. This product was successful and opened up a new market for high quality laser printing of electronic medical images.

In 1997, Nelson joined Imation Corporation as a National Accounts and OEM Marketing Manager. In this role, they led the development and execution of database marketing strategies and successfully targeted potential customers, both in hospitals and outside. Thomas also simplified OEM hardware pricing.

Moving on, Nelson worked at Eastman Kodak Health Group starting in 1999 as a Business Development Manager. Thomas managed a team of Technical Sales Specialists and achieved notable results in growing market share and financial performance in the Radiology and Mammagraphy business.

Lastly, Nelson spent the majority of their career at Carestream, where they held several positions. Starting in 2007, they served as the Director of sales and business development, Readiology and Women's Health. In this role, they led a global team and successfully managed raw material cost increases while growing market share every year in a declining market. Thomas also occupied the position of Director, Master Rolls and Private Label Products and Director of Ecommerce.

Thomas Nelson earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Rochester in 1980. Thomas then pursued an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, graduating in 1982.
