Timothy Brooks

Timothy Brooks has over 20 years of experience in Linux engineering and system administration. Currently serving as a Senior Linux Engineer at CARFAX since March 2013, Timothy specializes in installing and configuring Katello/Foreman provisioning systems and developing automated patching procedures for Chef on CentOS 7. Prior experience includes co-founding and directing Corazón de Esperanza until April 2022, and working as a Security Engineer at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, where Timothy administered a large number of servers and centralized logging systems. Additional roles include managing data warehouse development and e-commerce at PersonalCare Health Insurance, as well as serving as a Linux System Administrator at PersonalCare. Timothy holds a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
