Tyler Knierim

Tyler Knierim is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience at CARFAX since May 2012, where Tyler serves as a Software Development Manager and previously held the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this capacity, Tyler focuses on back-end big data processing within an Agile XP environment to enhance consumer products. Prior to CARFAX, Tyler engaged in undergraduate research at the University of Missouri, contributing to a project that involved designing a Java program to simulate peer interactions in torrent downloading, resulting in a publication accepted for presentation at the IEEE Consumer and Networking Conference in January 2010. Academically, Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with additional studies in Cognitive Science and Psychology from Truman State University, following a diploma from Southern Boone County High School.
