Dave Cecchi

Dave Cecchi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data platforms and engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager at Cargill since November 2008. In this role, Dave leads strategic initiatives related to Data-centric platforms and is the Product Owner for Cargill's Big Data and Advanced Analytics platform, enhancing data and analytics accessibility for engineering teams. Previously, Dave held significant positions such as Architecture and Solutions Lead for Business Intelligence, overseeing global capabilities and governance across multiple business domains, and led a 125-person Global Business Intelligence team. Additionally, Dave has expertise as an SAP BW Data Architect, where responsibilities included the architecture and design of Cargill's Global Enterprise Data Warehouse. Prior to Cargill, Dave served as Director of Technology at Perficient, Inc. Dave Cecchi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Geology from the University of Minnesota, earned between 1992 and 1998.
