Eman Abdalla

Eman Abdalla has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they hold the position of Global Operations & Supply Chain Director at Cargill since April 2021. In addition to this, they are also serving as the Vice Chair at Sea Cargo Charter starting May 2023 and as a Board Member at ZeroNorth since January 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Eman worked at Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) for several years, where they held multiple positions including Global Marine & Logistics Head from January 2020 to April 2021, Senior Manager - Marine and Logistics from July 2016 to December 2019, and Manager - Raw Material Logistics from December 2014 to July 2016.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Consultant at FML Marine Services Co. from September 2013 to December 2014, as an Operations Superintendent at Robert Reford from 2008 to 2012, as an Import Manager and Operations Co-ordinator at OEC Group from 2005 to 2008, and as an Operations & Project Manager at Redmar Egypt from 1996 to 2004.

Throughout their career, Eman has gained extensive expertise in areas such as global operations, supply chain management, logistics, marine operations, and project management.

Eman Abdalla completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language & Literature from the Faculty of Arts, English Department, Alexandria, Egypt from 1994 to 1998. In 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in International Transport & Logistics from the Norwegian School of Management (BI) & Norwegian Shipping Academy (NSA). Later, in 2011 to 2012, Eman obtained a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Carleton University.
