John Rim has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and information technology fields. John started their career as a Personal Computer Technician in 2017 and worked in that role until November 2020. In 2019, they interned at Samsung Biologics as a Global Intern / Specialist. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as an Information Technology Support Specialist at the BU Information Technology Help Center. In 2021, they worked at GenEdit as a Formulation Technician and also served as a Research Assistant at Boston University - Han Labs. In 2022, they interned at Genentech as a Cell Therapy Engineering and Development Intern. Currently, they are employed at CARGO Therapeutics as a Research Associate, starting in January 2023.
John Rim attended Boston University College of Engineering from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. In 2023, they obtained two additional certifications: "Become a Sales Representative" from LinkedIn and "Flow Cytometry" from Abcam.
