Mark Gittens

Mark Gittens has over 20 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement. Mark has held various leadership roles in reputable companies such as Cargotec, KION Group, and Northern Automotive Systems Ltd. At Cargotec, Mark served as the Vice President of Sourcing Transformation for Kalmar, where they were responsible for leading sourcing sustainability, digitalization, and analytics. Mark also led the sourcing integration activities for the proposed merger of Cargotec and Konecranes as the Vice President of Sourcing Integration. In their previous role as the Vice President of Sourcing for Hiab, Mark successfully transformed the sourcing organization into a global category organization. Before joining Cargotec, Mark held strategic sourcing positions at KION Group, Wales & West Utilities, and Northern Automotive Systems Ltd. Mark started their career at Panasonic and LG Electronics, where they gained experience in material control and purchasing. Overall, Mark's extensive work experience showcases their expertise in sourcing strategy development, supplier management, and supply chain sustainability.

From 1995 to 1999, Mark Gittens pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from the University of Glamorgan.
