Matthew Leinonen has extensive experience in the retail industry. Matthew started their career as an Assistant Store Manager at Walmart in 2001. From there, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Target until 2004. In 2006, Leinonen joined Finish Line as the Director of Private Label. Matthew then moved to Abercrombie & Fitch, where they held various roles, including Senior Merchandise Planner and Director of Merchandise Planning Training and Development. In 2011, they became the Director of Merchandise Planning for Denim and Twill Bottoms at Abercrombie & Fitch. Leinonen joined Carhartt in 2014 and served as the Director of Merchandise & Production Planning before becoming the Senior Director of D2C Operations in 2019.
