Ernesto Gil

Ernesto Gil currently serves as Executive Sous Chef at Caribe Royale Orlando, a position held since November 2023. Additionally, Ernesto is the owner of Que Bacán LLC, a food truck specializing in Peruvian cuisine, since May 2021. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Sous Chef for Banquets at JW Marriott Nashville from June 2018 to December 2020 and as Banquet Sous Chef at Diplomat Resort and Spa from September 2016 to May 2018, where responsibilities included managing a team, menu planning, and ensuring compliance with health standards. Ernesto's culinary journey began at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, progressing through various roles from Commis 2 Chef to Chef de Partie between October 2010 and September 2016. Ernesto holds an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Miami Dade College.
