Ashley Hammad

Ashley Hammad has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and nursing. Ashley is currently working at Caribou Biosciences as the Senior Director of Clinical Research, a role they started in January 2024 after previously serving as the Director of Clinical Research since July 2022.

Prior to their current position, Ashley worked at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where they held the position of Associate Director, Early Phase Trials from August 2020 to July 2022 and Clinical Program Manager, Early Phase Trials from July 2018 to August 2020.

Before joining Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Ashley worked as a Clinical Research Consultant at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions from June 2017 to July 2018.

Ashley'searlier experiences include roles at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where they worked as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator from March 2015 to June 2017 and as an Experimental Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse from April 2014 to March 2015.

Ashley's career began as a Registered Nurse at MedStar Washington Hospital Center from February 2012 to April 2014.

Ashley Hammad has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nursing from Shenandoah University, which they completed in 2011. Ashley then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Nurse Specialist at Hunter College, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Ashley has also obtained additional certifications, including being a Registered Nurse from Shenandoah University and an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AGCNS-BC) from Hunter College.
