Kalin Bird

Kalin Bird, ANP-BC has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years in the healthcare industry. Starting in 2008, Kalin worked as a Nurse Practitioner at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. This was followed by roles as a Nurse Practitioner at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Carilion Clinic, and NYU Langone Health. In 2016, Kalin joined VCU Health as a Nurse Practitioner, where they worked until 2018. Following this, Kalin worked as a Nurse Expert at Clovis Oncology and then as an Oncology Account Executive at AbbVie from 2018 to 2021. Kalin then transitioned into the role of a Medical Science Liaison at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. and Gamida Cell Ltd. In 2022, Kalin joined Caribou Biosciences as a Field Medical Affairs Director and currently holds this position. Throughout their career, Kalin has gained significant experience and expertise in various areas of healthcare, making them a valuable asset in the industry.

Kalin Bird, ANP-BC, holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialization in Adult Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University, obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, Kalin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Virginia Tech, which was completed from 2000 to 2004. In addition to these degrees, Kalin has also obtained certifications as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in October 2008 and as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing in March 2007.
