Tom Kochy

Tom Kochy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tom began their career as a Principal Engineer at Guava Technologies in 2000 before transitioning to Genentech in 2004. At Genentech, Tom held various roles such as Senior Manager/Manager, Group Product Manager, Associate Director, and Director of Pipeline Strategy. After leaving Genentech in 2019, Tom worked as a Principal at Strategy Consulting before joining Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. as Vice President, Commercial and Program Strategy. Tom later served as SVP, Head of Global Product Strategy and Commercial at Adverum before joining RGBio Consulting as a Principal. Currently, Tom works as the Vice President of Commercial Strategy at Caribou Biosciences.

Tom Kochy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Tom also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Mechanical Engineering License from the Board for Professional Engineers, California in December 1999.
