Software Engineer at Carina

Kathryn Brusewitz has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. From 2019, they worked at Carina: Connecting the Home Care Community as a Software Engineer and cloud infrastructure engineer. In this role, they were responsible for migrating the company's production technology stack to AWS and creating web applications and backend services. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, they were the Lead Software Engineer at BLOCKxStudio, where they managed the entire technology stack of a blockchain platform for developers and enterprise customers. Kathryn also pitched to investors and provided demos to enterprise customers. Before that, from 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Xcellerate - MSP Transformation, where they built an enterprise-level IT platform for Managed Service Providers. In addition, Kathryn has experience as a Programming and Computer Science Tutor at Bellevue College, where they tutored students in various programming languages and concepts, and also worked as a German Language Tutor and Computer Lab Student Assistant.

Kathryn Brusewitz completed their Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Bellevue College from 2010 to 2013. Kathryn then pursued further education at the University of Washington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informatics: Data Science from 2016 to 2018.
