Associate Director Of Federal Policy And Government Relations at Caring Across Generations

Tory Cross, MSPH, has an extensive and varied work experience. After completing a Master of Science in Public Health, Tory started their professional journey as a Baltimore Community Practicum Intern at House of Ruth Maryland in 2015. They then went on to work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where they contributed to various research projects focused on poverty, inequality, child and community health. Tory also served as a Project Coordinator at the Solano County Pride Center, coordinating and managing LGBTQ+ projects. In 2018, they worked as a Research Associate at Princeton University. In 2019, they joined the Addiction Policy Forum as a Data and Health IT Policy Associate. Tory also gained experience in political campaign organizing and policy advocacy, working as a Distributed Organizer for the Texas Democratic Party in 2020 and later as a Distributed Organizing Manager for Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate in 2020-2021. They also served as a Senior Policy Advisor and Senior Policy & Legislative Lead at Be A Hero, where they contributed to policy and legislative initiatives. Tory's most recent role, as of 2022, is with Caring Across Generations, initially as a Legislative Manager and currently as an Associate Director of Federal Policy & Government Relations. Throughout their career, Tory has demonstrated a commitment to public health, policy, and social justice.

Tory Cross, MSPH obtained a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Tory completed a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2011 to 2015.
