Chris Noakes, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Chris began their career as an Industrial Trainee at Pfizer in 2005 and later worked as a Research Assistant at the same company in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, Chris served as a Graduate/Lab Assistant at the University of Manchester. Chris then joined UC San Diego in 2011 as a Postdoctoral Scholar until 2013. During this time, they also worked as a Contract Journal Editor at American Journal Experts. In 2014, Chris worked as a Sales Associate at VWR. Chris then moved on to various roles at Champions Oncology, Inc., starting as the Director of Business Development and progressing to Vice President of Global Business Operations. From 2021 to 2022, Chris served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Interim CEO at Imagen Therapeutics. Chris then transitioned to Inotiv, where they worked as a Senior Director of Business Development in the Drug Discovery field. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of BioPharma Business Development at Caris Life Sciences.
Chris Noakes, Ph.D. completed their education in a chronological order. From 1995 to 2003, they attended Oakwood Park Grammar School where they attained A levels with 3 A's and 1 C, along with GCSE's achieving 3 A*'s, 5 A's, and 2 B's. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with study in industry from the University of Bristol, graduating between 2004 and 2008. Finally, they went on to earn their Ph.D. in Cell Biology from The University of Manchester between 2008 and 2011.
