Cyntanna Hawkins

Cyntanna Hawkins, PhD, currently serves as the Manager of Educational Development at HMP Global, where responsibilities include grant writing for continuing medical education activities targeting oncology health care professionals. Cyntanna's previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, focusing on cancer biology, and serving as a Grantsmanship Teaching Assistant to mentor peers in grant writing. Cyntanna's background also encompasses laboratory management at Ouachita Baptist University, where research on neuronal differentiation was conducted, as well as various health care positions, including work as a Physical Therapy Technician and Home Health Aide, demonstrating a broad foundation in both research and patient care. Cyntanna holds a PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a BS in Biology from Ouachita Baptist University.
