David Spetzler

David Spetzler is an accomplished leader in the field of precision medicine and cancer research, currently serving as President and Chief Scientific Officer at Caris Life Sciences since March 2010. With a strong focus on the development of clinical assays and noninvasive technologies for early-stage cancer detection, David oversees research and development efforts that leverage the proprietary Caris TOP® technology. Prior to this role, David held various positions within Caris Diagnostics and began an academic career as a Faculty Research Associate at Arizona State University, contributing to innovative projects in protein dynamics and DNA computing. David holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Computational Bioscience and an MBA from Arizona State University, complemented by an undergraduate education at Knox College.
