Matthew Brentnall, Ph.D., currently serves as Director of Biopharma and Business Development at Caris Life Sciences since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Staff Scientist and Scientist III at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2016 to 2021, and Scientist II at Hologic (formerly Gen-Probe) from 2014 to 2016, where work focused on molecular diagnostics in oncology and healthcare-associated infections. Matthew also contributed as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University from 2012 to 2014, leading NIH-funded research and training laboratory personnel. Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from the University of Miami and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with Honors from Florida Atlantic University.
