Irena Menšíková

Irena Menšíková is an experienced journalist and communications professional with a strong background in humanitarian aid and development cooperation. Currently serving as the Editor of Foreign Topics and Communications Officer at Charita Česká republika since January 2021, Irena has also contributed as a freelance journalist and content editor for various media outlets including Forbes and Deník N since February 2016. Notable works include coverage of innovative start-ups in Turkey and field reporting on indigenous communities in Tanzania. Irena's previous roles include serving as a Communications Officer at People in Need, and working as a copywriter and PR manager in various organizations. Irena holds a Master's degree in Media and Communication Studies from Masaryk University Brno and has studied at Ankara University.
