Natalie Marrer

Natalie Marrer is an experienced legal professional and freelance journalist. Currently serving as a Juristin und Rechtsvertreterin at Caritas Schweiz since June 2021, Natalie also works as a freelance journalist for femelle.ch. Previous roles include a Legal Trainee at HEKS, an International Correspondent to the UN for Kyodo News, and an intern in communications and freedom to publish at the International Publishers Association. Natalie's freelance journalism experience includes contributions to Coop Magazine and maintaining a blog from 2013-2019. A research assistant at the Global Migration Centre and equipped with advanced degrees in international law and legal studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a master's in law from Université de Fribourg, Natalie is well-versed in migration issues and legal research. Educational credentials also include studies at the Kantonsschule Solothurn and the University of Strasbourg.
