Peter Wiegers

Peter Wiegers has a strong background in engineering and project management. Peter currently serves as the Global Head of Engineering at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, where they oversee engineering activities on multiple international sites. Their responsibilities include industrialization of new product developments, capacity extension projects, and organizational development. Prior to this role, Wiegers was the Head of Global Process Engineering at B.Braun Avitum Saxonia GmbH from 2014 to 2020. Peter also worked as a Project Director at Gambro Dialysatoren GmbH / Baxter Healthcare from 2008 to 2014, and as a Project Manager at Gambro Dialysatoren GmbH from 1999 to 2008.

Peter Wiegers completed their education at the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz from 2000 to 2002, earning a Dipl.-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurswesen. Prior to that, they attended Hamburg University of Applied Sciences from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau.
