Michelle Mattson

Michelle Mattson currently serves as Provost at Carleton College since July 2022. Previously, Michelle held the position of Provost at Wittenberg University from July 2019 to July 2022 and has been a Professor of German and Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at Rhodes College since August 2004. Michelle also served as a Professor of German at Iowa State University from August 1997 to June 2004. Michelle earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in German and Humanities from Stanford University and holds a Bachelor's degree in German and Latin from the University of Minnesota.
