Jason Kellogg

Interim Culinary Arts Director at Carlos Rosario International Public School

Jason Kellogg has a diverse work experience in the culinary field. Jason began their career as a Garde Manger at Delicious Heights in 2005, where they worked until 2007. From 2008 to 2014, they served as a Chef / Food Service Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. In 2013, they briefly worked as a Test Kitchen Associate at Saveur Magazine. Starting in 2015, Jason joined Starbucks as a Supervisor for a year before transitioning to the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School. At Carlos Rosario, they initially worked as a Lead Chef Instructor and later became the Interim Culinary Arts Director. As of now, they continue to fulfill this role.

Jason Kellogg obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Thomas Edison State University from 2003 to 2007. Jason then pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from The Culinary Institute of America between 2012 and 2014. Continuing their culinary education, Jason earned a Master's of Professional Studies degree in Food Business from The Culinary Institute of America from 2019 to 2021.

Currently, Jason is enrolled at The Catholic University of America, where they are expected to graduate in 2025 with a Doctor of Law degree (JD) specializing in Law. In addition to their formal education, Jason has acquired a certification in LexisNexis, specifically the Practice-Ready Certification, in November 2021 from LexisNexis.
