Becky Zimmer

Becky Zimmer is an experienced freelance journalist currently working with Rebecca Zimmer since September 2022 and serving as an English as an Additional Language instructor at Carlton Trail College since October 2023. Previously, Becky held positions as a web editor at Pattison Media from February 2021 to August 2022 and as a regional municipal affairs reporter for Northern Saskatchewan at Glacier Media Group from April 2020 to February 2021. Additional experience includes roles as a communications manager at YWCA Saskatoon and editor at Glacier Media Inc., overseeing publications such as the Humboldt Journal and East Central Trader. Becky has contributed as a freelance writer for Halifax Media Co-op and completed an internship at The Coast. Educational qualifications include a Global Studies Certificate and a CERTESL from the University of Saskatchewan, along with a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of King's College and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Saskatchewan.
