Kevin Hopwood

Kevin Hopwood is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at CarMax since June 2020, leading a team focused on content creation and distribution using an autoregressive language model and deep learning technologies. Previously, Kevin served as a Cloud Solutions Architect at NTT DATA Services, where responsibilities included the design and implementation of Azure solutions for bridging data systems with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and at RightRez, where legacy systems were incrementally modernized using .NET Core. Additional roles include designing cloud solutions for JetBlue Airways, engineering software for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and holding lead positions at companies such as The GEO Group, Inc. and FEMA/DHHS. Kevin's educational background includes a MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
