Beekeeping Artisan at Carmel Valley Ranch

Rachel Sutton currently serves as a Beekeeping Artisan and Sustainability Committee Chair at Carmel Valley Ranch since January 2023. Concurrently, Rachel is a graduate student in the Outdoor Recreation Economy program at the University of Colorado Boulder. Previously, Rachel held the position of Senior Environmental Stewardship Educator at MEarth, where responsibilities included program and curriculum development aimed at educating middle school students on environmental stewardship. Rachel's experience spans various roles in outdoor education and environmental management, including Outdoor Recreation Manager, Naturalist, and Environmental Educator at several organizations. Rachel obtained a Master's in Outdoor Recreation Economy with a focus on Ecotourism from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies with a specialization in Sustainable Communities from California State University, Monterey Bay.
