Donald R. Lhoest

Donald R. Lhoest has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Donald R. currently works at Carmeuse as the Digital Transformation Project Director. Prior to this role, they served as the Corporate Operations Engineer-Lead for the same company. From 2016 to 2020, they held the position of Head of Business Development - CMO, where they focused on developing and consolidating their commercial presence in Africa, as well as integrating new production facilities and providing IT/digital support. Before joining Carmeuse, Donald worked as a Personal Assistant to the CMO Managing Director.

Donald R.'searlier experiences include teaching mathematics at Centre Scolaire Sainte-Marie La Sagesse and participating in Teach for Belgium, a leadership development program for educational equality. Donald R. also worked as an IT Assistant at Carmeuse s.a., a Technical Sales Engineer at GDTech, and as an Explort Intern at the Wallonia Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX). Additionally, Donald has held roles as a Barista at Sodexo, a Team Manager at Asmae, and as a Chef and Kitchen Porter at d'Arry's Restaurant Cambridge.

Donald R. Lhoest completed a Master's Degree in International Business and Environmental Management from the Louvain School of Management from 2012 to 2015. In 2013, they also completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business engineering from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering from UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles from 2009 to 2012. In 2008, they completed a Foundation Programme in Business studies, Communication studies, Economics, and Math from Bell School, Cambridge.
