Mari Holden OLY

Mari Holden OLY has a diverse work experience in the cycling industry. Mari is currently working at USA Cycling as a Regional Gift Officer, responsible for managing relationships and generating support. Mari also served as the Women's National Team Road Coach from October 2019 to January 2021. In 2019, they founded their own company, Living Well with Mari Holden, where they work as a Performance & Wellness Coach. Additionally, they are a Performance Coach at Carmichael Training Systems. Since 2006, Mari has been working as a Private Coach under their own company, Mari Holden Coaching. Mari also has experience as a Team Director at TWENTY20 Sho-Air UCI Women's Professional Cycling Team from 2013 to September 2019. In the past, they have worked as a VIP "In Race" Driver at Medalist Sports, Independent Sales Rep at Louis Garneau, and Nutrition Tech Rep at GMR Marketing/ PowerBar. Prior to their coaching and business career, Mari Holden had an impressive professional cycling career as an Olympic medalist and world champion in road cycling (TT) from 1993 to 2007.

Mari Holden OLY pursued their education in a chronological manner. Mari attended Ojai Valley School for middle school and high school from 1980 to 1988, where they obtained their high school degree. Later, from 2000 to 2004, they enrolled at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy. In 2018, Holden attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth for a brief period, focusing on transitioning to the business field.
