Nicholas Harrison is a Senior Fellow and Director of Knowledge Management at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, where involvement includes leading a $14 million international initiative focused on governance of emerging climate-altering technologies. Nicholas has extensive experience in climate policy and diplomacy, evidenced by roles such as Senior Programme Manager for the Carnegie Climate Geoengineering Governance Initiative and Advisor for Climate Action in the Executive Office of the UN Secretary-General. Current positions include Senior Adviser on climate change at the Proteknôn Foundation for Innovation and Learning and Independent Expert for Climate-KIC. Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Organisational Psychology and has contributed to various international climate initiatives throughout a distinguished career that includes advising governments and organizations on climate strategies.
