Temur Umarov (马铁木) currently serves as a Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and a Research Fellow at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, both positions held since March and April 2022, respectively. Previously, Temur was a Fellow and a Research Consultant at the Carnegie Moscow Center from June 2019 to April 2022 and also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration from September 2020 to April 2022. Additionally, Temur held the title of Young Ambassador at the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy and completed an internship at the Carnegie Moscow Center. Earlier in a career, Temur was a Project Development Manager at LIFAN from March 2015 to August 2017. Temur's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Economics from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and a Master's degree in World Economics from the University of International Business and Economics, alongside a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from RANEPA.
