Ed Denning

Treasurer at Carnegie Hall

Ed Denning has been working in the field of entertainment sales for over 20 years. Ed began their career as a Lead Ticket Seller with The Madison Square Garden Company in 1990. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the processing of all orders, supervising the sales staff, and providing customer service support.

In 1997, Ed transferred to Clear Channel Entertainment, where they served as Director of Group and Facility Sales. In this role, they developed and implemented procedures and policies to support a successful Group Sales operation. Ed also developed a system to maintain membership for the company's 3,000 member Platinum Club and Advantage Club members. In addition, Ed was responsible for all theater rentals, including securing dates, negotiating with promoters, and financial settlement.

Ed has been with Carnegie Hall since 2001, serving as Treasurer. In this role, they are responsible for the financial management of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ed also oversees the human resources and IT functions of the organization.

Ed Denning has a BBA in finance from Hofstra University. Ed also has various certifications from LinkedIn in topics such as Advanced SQL for Data Scientists, Learning NoSQL Databases, Python Data Analysis, Python for Data Visualization, Data Wrangling in R, Creating Interactive Presentations with Shiny and R, Social Network Analysis Using R, Learning Python, Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals, and Introduction to Data Science.
