Ankita Kundu is an undergraduate student researcher at Carnegie Mellon University in the Statistics & Machine Learning department, focusing on data analysis and machine learning using R. In a technical lead role at ScottyLabs, Ankita oversees the development of the TartanHacks website and mobile app, and creates software for apps serving the CMU student body. Experience includes participation in NASA's L'SPACE Mission Concept Academy, where Ankita contributed to the design of a Mars rover mission and received mentorship in software development and aerospace engineering. Previously, as a researcher at the New Jersey Governor's School of Engineering & Technology, Ankita was selected as one of the top 70 students from a competitive pool. Ankita also served as Course Quality Director at ScioVirtual, where collaboration with instructors led to the creation of accessible STEM courses while raising funds for COVID-19 and hunger relief. Ankita is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
