Wendy Caveny's work experience begins in 2000 when they worked as a Marketing Receptionist/Outbound Customer Service representative at Gateway. Wendy then worked briefly at Citibank in the Retention Department as a Management Information Systems Summer Associate. In 2001, they became a Student Office Assistant at Regents Information Systems. From 2001 to 2004, Wendy held multiple roles at Dakota State University, including Computing Services - Student Assistant and Adjunct Faculty. In 2004, they started working at the University of Minnesota, where they held multiple roles, including Labovitz School of Business and Economics - Instructor and Information Technology Systems and Services - Business/Systems Analyst. Wendy'smost recent position, starting in 2020, is Director of Institutional Research at the South Dakota Board of Regents. Wendy's skills include various programming languages, database applications, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Wendy Caveny obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in English with minors in Biology and Chemistry from the University of South Dakota from 1997 to 2001. Wendy later pursued higher education and earned their Master of Science degree in Information Systems with a focus on Database Administration from Dakota State University from 2002 to 2004.
