Abdou K.

Abdou K. has a wealth of experience in the business and finance industry. Abdou began their career in 2003 as an Analyst at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB). In 2004, they moved to Globalpraxis Group as a Senior Consultant. In 2007, they became the Managing Director of Cadilu Fishing (Pty) Ltd. - Vieirasa Group, a role which included overseeing the catching, processing and exporting of Hake. In 2012, they joined Diana Holding / Wine & Spirits Industry as the Strategy and Marketing Director. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at British American Tobacco in various roles, including Commercial Director and Head of Portfolio. In 2021, they became the Managing Director at Bipi, and in 2020 they joined Simon-Kucher & Partners as a Senior Advisor. Abdou K. is currently the CEO of Carnovo, a position they have held since 2022.

Abdou K. began their educational journey in 1989 when they earned their Baccalauréat S in Physics from Lycée Regnault. In 1996, they obtained a Diploma in Applied Mathematics from the University of Montpellier. Three years later, they earned a BSc. in Econometrics from the same university. In 2002, Abdou K. completed an MBA from IE Business School. In 2014, they earned a Global Marketing Excellence Certificate from IMD and in 2019, they completed the General Management Programme (PDG) from IESE Business School with a focus in Business Administration and Management.
