Laurel Tesar

Laurel Tesar is an Environmental Specialist II at Carnow Conibear & Assoc., Ltd., with experience in Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, project management, and soil/groundwater investigations. Prior roles include Environmental Specialist I, where responsibilities involved conducting Phase I Environmental Assessments in compliance with ASTM E1527-21 standards, hazardous materials surveys, and ensuring adherence to NEPA reviews. Laurel began with an internship as an Environmental Technician, assisting in various environmental assessments for the Chicago Public Schools. Additional experience includes an internship at Young Chiropractic and Acupuncture, performing therapeutic treatments, and another internship at Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association, where event organization and project development for Para athletes were key tasks. Laurel holds a degree in Community Health with a focus on Health Planning and Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
